SAGE Singapore

January 2013

Having benefited as a junior college student from the SAGE Globals competition in 2009, I grabbed the chance to be involved again as a undergraduate. After mentoring a team for SAGE Singapore 2012, I took on the role of National Coordinator in 2013, and organised the national chapter of SAGE with my 5-person committee.

This was probably the largest event I've had to co-ordinate thus far, involving a variety of stakeholders and a substantial amount of funding from the university and the Lee Foundation. Not all was smooth-sailing, but the pain of making mistakes certainly help to drive home some lessons in a way I'll never forget. No regrets here!
