Was blessed to spend 4 months on an overseas exchange programme with Universiteit Maastricht in the Netherlands. Learnt so many new things, from renting a place and managing a house (and my housemates) to cycling on the roads (!) and the Dutch way of washing dishes (!!).

Experiencing my first White Christmas and travelling around Europe was awesome, but what left the strongest impression on me has to be the international friendships made. So grateful for the spiritual family I found in DR:UM; there, I got a glimpse of what "every tongue and tribe worshipping the Lord" truly means.

My partner and I also had the great privilege to befriend a German couple at the university and visited their home, and later returned the favour by hosting one of them in Singapore when he came over for his exchange programme.
